This is a hands on class, We prepare and cook the meal together and then have a nice meal.

Nasi Lemak Kukus

CLASS IS FULL

Learn to make real Nasi Lemak Kukus along with all its accompaniments.  You will learn:

1.   Nasi Lemak (Coconut Rice) – steamed not boiled

2.   Chicken Rendang

3.   Sambal

4.   Sotong Sambal

5.   Crispy Fried Fish

Price Per Person: $100 per person (Class will commence once there are 6 students)

Hawker Curry Puffs

CLASS IS FULL

Learn to make two types of our favorite curry puff.

 

1.  Malay or Indian Crispy Curry puff Pastry

2.  Rolled Curry Puffs

3.  Chicken Curry Filling

Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding

 

There’s nothing like roast beef with Yorkshire Pudding.  It was once a poor persons staple but not anymore. 

 

1.  Roast Beef

2.  Yorkshire Pudding

3.  Roasted Potatoes

4.  Broccoli with Caramelized Onions and Pine Nut Dressing

Price Per Person: $100 (Class will commence once there are 8 students)

 

Sunday July 14th 10 to 1 pm

Mille Crepe

 The art of Mille Crepe – Learn to make Mille Crepe from scratch. You will learn to make the crepes, the mille feuille (Cream) and assemble the crepe and take your share home.

Class will commence once there are 6 students.  This is a hands on session so please dress comfortably and bring a container.

 

 

Friday July 26th 10 am to 1 pm

Fresh Pasta Class

Let’s make Pasta from scratch.

You will learn to make:

1.    Pasta Dough

2.    Aglio ed Olio

3.    Lasagna

This is a hands on class where each person will make their own pasta dough, roll it out and prepare it for the two dishes above.

Price Per Person: $100. Class will commence once there are 6 students.

 

Saturday July 27th 10 to 1 pm

Curries without Coconut Milk

 

This is ideal for Hari Raya Open House as it will not get bad.  Some are healthier some are not so healthy, but it is a good balance. The curry paste you will learn for this can be stored in the freezer for later use.  You will learn:

1.    Chicken Varuvel

2.    Chicken Kurma

3.    Fish Curry

Price Per Person: $100 (Class will commence once there are 6 students)

 

Sunday July 28th 10 am to 1 pm

Mooncake and Snowskin Mooncake Class

 A most asked for class all because the prices of mooncakes have gone up tremendously.

1.  Traditional Mooncake Skin

2.  A few flavors of Snowskin – Pandan, Charcoal and Strawberry

3.   Salted Egg Mooncake

4.  Mixed Nut Mooncake

5.  Lin Yoong Recipe will be provided and explained as it is too time consuming to do during class.
