Soft Bread Class

Sunday November 3rd 2 to 5 pm

The Art of Soft Bread. You will learn to make this all time favorite, soft fluffy bread.


You will learn to prepare different bread variations. You will learn;


1. Soft Bread Dough
2. Mini Bread Loaves
3. Sausage Bread
4. Cinnamon Rolls


Price Per Person: RM150


Indian Sweets

November 9th 10 to 2pm

This is another class where you will be learning more Indian Sweets. You will learn,
  1. Halva
  2. Boondi Ladoo
  3. Palkova

Price Per Person: RM180

This is a fully hands on session. Photos will be uploaded later.

Kerala Fish Curry and South Indian Prawn Curry

Sunday November 10th 2.30 to 5.30

Although many Malaysian Indians are of South Indian extract, but food over there is still very different.  I’ve done this class a few times and it is always a favorite. You will learn;

  1. Kerala Fish Curry
  2. South Indian Prawn Curry

Bookings need to be made early so I can get the seafood in time and not have to freeze it.

French Baguette

Saturday November 16th 2 to 5 pm

Bake two types of French Bread from scratch. You will learn;


  1. Original French Bread/ Bahn Mi / French Baguette
  2. Easy French Bread


Price Per Person: $140

This is a fully hands on class. (class will commence once there are 4 students)



Fruit Cake 2

Sunday November 17 th 11.30 to 2.30

Learn to make English Classics that are oldies but goodies and seldom heard off around here.



  1. Dundee Cake

Alcohol will be used in the preparation of this cake.

Christmas Delights

Saturday November 23rd 11 to 2 pm

You will learn to make some Christmas favorites that seem to be rather expensive at all major hotels.  This is a fully Hands on session where you will be working in groups.  You will learn to make:

Christmas Fruit Mince

  1. Christmas Stollen
  2. Marzipan for Stollen Filling
  3. Fruit Mince Tart Filling from scratch
  4. Christmas Fruit Mince Tart


These are ideal homemade Christmas gifts.

Price Per Person: $160.  (Class will commence once there are four students)

Alcohol is used in the preparation of the fruit mince.



Roasted Turkey Meal

Sunday November 24th 11 to 3 pm

It’s the yearly Turkey Class; learn to make my moist turkey and all the trimmings and accompaniments that go with it.

The Art of Prawn Mee / Penang Hokkien Mee

Sunday October 6th 1 to 4 pm

I was asked to repeat this class, it was well received the last time. So here goes. You will learn;

Pie Making Class

Tuesday October 8th 11 to 2 pm

We’ve been planning this class for a while now and finally I have a group.  We will learn everything from scratch. You will learn;


  1. Short Crust Pastry
  2. Potato Topping
  3. Creamy Chicken and Mushroom Filling
  4. Beef Filling

Essential Oil in Baking

Saturday October 12th 2 to 5 pm


We hear so much about the good of essential oils and many uses, but seldom in anything baked or cooked. This class will be conducted by Joe Bell who is a Diamond Leader of doTerra Essential oils. You will learn;

  1. Apple Cobbler
  2. Chocolate Brownies

Price Per Person: RM100.

There will be a question and answer session after the class, so you can further learn about the uses of essential oils.

Cakes for Diwali

Sunday October 13th 11 to 2 pm

Learn to make Sujee Cake and Fruit Cake for Diwali.  The fruit cake is something new I was toying with the other day.

You will learn;

  1. Traditional Sujee Cake
  2. Semi Rich Fruit Cake

Fruit Cake contains alcohol.

Indian Sweet Class

Saturday 19th October  11 to 2 pm

Learn to prepare three Indian Sweets.  I learnt this in India and had to perfect it before teaching it again. You will be using pure ghee for this class.

Indonesian Layer Cake – Kek Lapis

Sunday 20th September 2 to 5 pm

A class many will term as tedious but then enjoy the fruits of their labor.  You will learn to prepare this cake from scratch.


Each student will get their own cake.  Only THREE Students in a class.

Prawn Mee (Penang Hokkien Mee)

Saturday 21st 1 pm to 4 pm

Prawn Mee has a rich history that dates back a long time ago. It is a painstaking job to prepare the broths and in the best situation, to leave it over night before cooking it to be served.

I have a few students who now sell this overseas. You will learn;

Fish Beriani – Complete Meal

Saturday September 28th 2.30 to 5.30

Something for Diwali.

Learn to prepare this seldom found Beriani.  The art of fish Beriani is different from Meat Berianis. You will learn;

  1. Fish Beriani

  2. Mung Dhal with Egg – I love my Beriani with eggs so this is just for that

  3. Bagara Baingan – This Brinjal Curry is cooked with peanuts and sesame and has a nice nutty flavor to it.


Price Per Person: RM160

Each person will take home a slice of fish so booking early with full payment needs to be done.


Red Velvet Cake – A good rustic cake.

Sunday September 29th 11 am to 2 pm

The much requested Red Velvet Class is here one more time.  I’ve not had this class for a while now.  You will learn;

This is a hands on session.  Please bring a high container to take your piece of cake home.

This is a real old style cake, not the spongy ones you get outside.
